Smoking -- We are a non-smoking facility under an ordinance issued by the Mingo County Health Department. Butt cans are available outside for our guests who smoke. We thank you for not throwing your cigarette butts in the grass or on the sidewalks.
In the best interest of our guests who may suffer from allergies, only service pets are permitted.
Reservations made more than 30 days in advance must cancel no less than 14 days prior to check-in and are subject to a cancellation fee of no less than one-night’s lodging and applicable taxes. Reservations made less than 30 days in advance must cancel within 48 hours of check-in or be subject to a cancellation fee of no less than one-night’s lodging and applicable fees for multiple-night stays (two or more) and no less than a $50 cancellation fee for one-night stays.
Our guests visiting the Hatfield-McCoy Trails System can store their ATVs and dirt bikes under our carport at no extra charge as space permits.
Breakfast is included in our rate and provided to our paying guests. Non-guests wishing to eat breakfast at the inn will be charged. Due to COVID-19, a modified continental breakfast will be served seven (7) days per week. This breakfast includes traditional items, such as breads, pastries, and cereal, but also includes a variation of boiled eggs, pre-cooked bacon, egg whites, hash browns, and microwaveable food items in addition to juice, water, milk, coffee, and tea.
Safety-- Our guests' safety is our number one priority. We have a security system featuring exterior surveillance cameras; a fire suppression system, and a gas generator for backup in the case of a power outage.
Privacy -- We will not at any time divulge any of your information to anyone outside of our business. We will only use testimonials, recommendations, and photos that have been placed on our public web site guest book and those outside the guest book from whom we have expressed, written consent.
Check-in/Checkout -- Check-in is 4 p.m., unless plans are made for an earlier time prior to arrival. Checkout is 11 a.m., unless plans are made in advance for a later checkout time. PLEASE NOTE: During busier seasons, early check-in and late checkout may not be available due to the time it takes to properly prepare the rooms for arriving guests.
Cleaning Fee -- In the case of whole-house rentals with 16 or more people, a $200 cleaning fee will be added to the invoice.
